I gave this pen as a present to my best friends daughter because she acquired 7 A stars and 5 A's in her exams. She was seriously chuffed to receive such a gift and said it was the best pen she had ever had. " It just glides across the paper with no effort at all," was her comment on first using it. "Well, it's a Waterman!" I said, "it's to be expected." There is nothing like that first experience of using a superior pen and I expect she will never settle for anything less for the rest of her life. The engraving along the barrel was an excellent personal touch as was the gift wrapping and first class service from Andrew, the Waterman representative who dealt with my order. Highly recommended and a thing of beauty as well as practicality.
